This episode was titled Pittura Infamante. I really wish they would make these titles a little bit easier!

This was a weird episode, they all are really.

In this episode, it opens with Crane trying to find out from Abbie if he dress is up to standards for a date with Katrina. He gives some quip about how he doesn't understand how one can be business casual.

It was a well delivered line. The actor still does triumphantly well with horrible lines delivered in a fashion that somehow makes it okay that he said the dumbest thing on the planet.

Even more weird, is that Katrina wears a modern day dress. I'm not sure why Crane is so adamant about not wearing a normal day suit if he is so concerned about modern definitions of business causal.

Really, the episode goes downhill from there, which isn't saying a lot. There was one more good one-liner joke when Katrina kisses Crane as a means of distraction. That was really it.

To comment about that, I would not need a modern day murder as cause for the need to kiss Ichabod Crane. I would be kissing him all the time.

He also wouldn't have to worry about that suit for long ...

The monster this time around was pretty good, so kuddos to the art department or creature department of whatever. The monster rising out of the floor was really cool. I must say, the special effects in the show are so much better than Grimm. I caught five minutes of that show a week ago and I laughed out loud it was so terrible.

I also liked the idea of the painting and going into the painting and all of that.

However, again, the problem with the show is simply the extremely weak writing and missed opportunities. Katrina's friendship with Mrs. Adams could have been really cool if flushed out. I never really felt any longing from Katrina over Mrs. Adams. It was a missed opportunity.

Orlando Jones must be so annoyed with this show. He is the only good actor on it besides Tom Mison for reasons I explained above. Jones looks pained as Irving, however, I'm not sure if that is great acting or he is pained that the show is so terrible. Either way, his method acting is working.

A wasted talent on the show is Sakina Jaffrey. She is so much better than what this role gives her.

Please Sleepy Hollow, develop your characters more. Give them more meaningful things to say for more meaningful reasons. Use Ms. Jaffrey in a battle of power with Abbie, get rid of Katrina or at least make her less annoying. Give Orlando Jones more airtime and work with the fact that he is nailing this role. Work with the good things, get rid of the bad. It's time for some housekeeping people.

This week's episode gave us what everyone wanted. It was Henry making the right choice and choosing his parents. Ichabod and Katrina weren't sure if they could kill Henry, but Henry came through anyway -- with much convincing.

I guess what really convinced him was how heartless Moloch was toward Henry. This was who he truly considered his father, and yet, Moloch did not care for him. Uh, duh.

When Ichabod was willing to sacrifice himself to save Katrina, Henry saw that he could not let Moloch kill them. Well, also, there would be no show.

I hope we get to find out if the captain was able to save his soul before he died. It doesn't seem so, as he died before Moloch, but I'm sure they will find a way around that.

This show is almost there at being good, but it still disappoints. For me, I guess it's that we have this emotional scene taking place, and my heart is not in it. I think it is the writing. It's weird, it all happens to fast and too slow. Too slow for Henry to realize over multiple, multiple episodes that Moloch does not have his best interests at heart, and then once the climax comes, it's over so fast, much like the plot line with the mother.

I will keep giving it a chance though, as it is on Hulu plus for me, and therefore, I will eventually get to this series.

Thanks to 4inkjets coupon SIGLER14, I can write about one of my favorite television shows, Sleepy Hollow. Thanks to the time and money I save with their fabulous inkjets, I get to spend more time doing things I love, like relaxing while watching a good television show. I even have time to write about the show on my blog, since the 4inkjet website is so easy to use, I don't waste a bunch of time searching the site for the items I need.

This episode was titled Momma.

This episode was much better than those of recent past. Mostly, because there was a bit more character development. We finally got to have an episode with the sisters' mother. It was good piece of character interaction.

Another good part of the episode was the fact that Ichabod was sick. Again, when this show has a little fun, and tries to be humorous, it succeeds.  The gentleman that plays Ichabod is a good actor, and this show really highlights his strengths.

Abbie, again, is a terrible actress. She really only has a few tricks up her sleeve and then she runs out. She can not truly convey emotion, and she does not understand subtleties. This episode could have been way better with a better actress at the helm. She is strikingly beautiful, and clearly why she got the job, but perhaps she could take an acting class between seasons. She does have good chemistry with Ichabod, but, at this point, one has to ask themselves if it is because they have good chemistry together, or, if when she has scenes with him, his skill elevates the scene.

The show misses its chance once again to have a more intriguing episode. The mother was a great asset and they did not fully utilize her. A one and done episode with her seems extremely lacking. The show seems to forget that it is wholly possible to have more than one episode with a character. Every episode does not have to complete. A few episodes with the mother would have been great. Flesh out what it was like for the mother in the insane asylum. Spend more time with the sisters interacting on behalf of their mother. Abbie could have been locked up longer in the asylum. Show the blonde guy getting increasingly worried for Abbie. None of this happened. The show really is not understanding character development at all.

I feel like I like the show more for its potential, than for what it actually brings to the table.

This week's episode was called Heartless. The main premise of the episode was that Ichabod, Abbie and Katrina are fighting against a Succubus.

I feel like the season is losing its edge. The problem is, nothing is moved forward. I don't know why the trio don't just give up at this point. It's an exhausting amount of work when just new baddies come into each episode and nothing new happens with the over arching storyline.

Yes, Harry is bad. Yes, Abbie is right. No, Katrina is wrong about Henry.

However, can you really chance the whole worlds survival based on the fact he was your son? It just doesn't make sense. He's one of the four horseman for Peete's sake. Get over it already.

I think I am beginning to agree with other people who watch the show. Something has to move it forward at this point. I'm tired of seeing them fight monsters, but overall nothing really happens.

I like we they insert humor into the show. The humor part of it is great. Why don't the writers realize this? No, not every episode can we have Ichabod and Katrina watching The Bachelor, but I am sure there are more ways to insert some humor.

Here is some examples of what you could. Move the story forward with Henry. Is he bad or good? That can remain the question, but there is no conflict here. He's bad right now. He has not ever shown that he wants to be good. If you want more dilemma, present a dilemma for Henry. Make us want to side with Katrina if you want it to be more interesting. Right now Henry has the potential to be a good character, but he is flat.

As for the Succubus storyline, there wasn't much there. That's the problem. I can't even write a good recap because that is pretty much it. The creature was okay. Yet, meh.

All good television shows have good characters and good character development. Why not cause an issue between Abbie and her sister Jenny? Why not set up a longer betrayal between Katrina and Ichabod, or even better, set it up where Katrina betrays Abbie. That would be good. Then what would Ichabod do? Who would he choose? His friend, or his lovely wife that isn't really all that on his side.
