Mad Men was so good last night! Honestly, my husband and I can't stop talking about it!

I don't like to go into a whole recap of what happened, that just wastes your time and mine. Let's get to the nitty-gritty.

How awesome was the writing in this episode?! It was pure genius the way the tension built in this episode. The way you just felt for Don sitting there, all day, waiting for them to decide his fate. With each passing moment, him looking more and more pathetic, his thin veneer fading away with each tick of the clock. The way he interacted with his fellow coworkers and bosses, so desperately trying to hold onto the larger than life image he had before he left, now dwindled down to something close to being pitied. How each character reacted to Don's presence. Joan, a bit threatened by the return of a big hitter. Cutler being defensive of his guy Lou, Roger equally defensive of Don. Peggy, who, like a petulant child, can't admit out loud how much better her life will be if Don comes back.

We all thought he would throw the offer back in their faces. It was almost like they set it up in a way that he would HAVE to decline the offer. A way to get rid of him by his choice. Nope. He simply agreed to the offer.

I think there is way more behind it. This isn't just a simple yes. I think he has some cards up his sleeves.

I can't wait for what Don does to Lou.
